Pinellas Prevention Partners
Repositioning a Community Organization for Broader Impact
Industry: Non-Profit
Formerly known as Live Free, this community health coalition needed to reposition itself with a refreshed identity and broader appeal. The organization was evolving its mission around preventing substance misuse and promoting mental wellness across all age groups in Pinellas County and needed a brand that better reflected that role.
Execution
The rebranding process began with a new name: Pinellas Prevention Partners, a name that better reflected the organization's role as a community collaborator and advocate. From there, I developed a complete brand identity, including a modern logo, color palette, and typography system designed to appeal to different age groups while maintaining credibility with community stakeholders and partners.
I then designed and launched a new website with clear, user-friendly navigation and messaging tailored to teens, parents, older adults, and community partners. Website copy was developed with local SEO and keyword relevance in mind, with an emphasis on prevention education, youth engagement, and community resources.
I also developed email and social media templates that gave the organization a consistent way to communicate across platforms while maintaining its new visual identity.
